It's time for adult leader award nominations to be turned into the District by Dec. 31, 2018 so that they can be presented at the annual District Dinner in late January.
North Star District Dinner will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 7pm at the LDS Stake Center, Carrollton. Cost is $24.
This year we have decided that rather than having a one day Advancement Day for merit badges, we will have a series of 7 or 8 smaller workshops. Each workshop is expected to cover 2 required merit badges. Enrollment will be limited. We anticipate that if a particular badge is in high demand, it may be offered in subsequent workshops. We believe this will give more opportunity for Scouts to earn badges.

Anyone becoming a direct contact leader* after April 30, 2018 must have Weather Hazards Training to meet the "Trained" requirements.
