Welcome to Elm Fork training.  We welcome ALL Scouts and Scouters to our training.  If your council/district training doesn't match your schedule, please join us!  Return to the Training page to see the list of upcoming training events.  See flyer below for the 2019 NS Training Calendar.

Elm Fork District believes in quality training that brings together Scouts and Scouters from all areas of Scouting to provide the richest environment for learning to take place - a place to fellowship, share, question, and grow.  To quote our current District Chair, David Ragsdale, a former Scoutmaster and former Jamboree Scoutmaster, "Effective training is the foundation for a successful Scouting program."

For shooting sports training, go to https://www.c10shootingsports.org/EventsList.html

For additional Circle Ten Council in-person training such as EDGE, Wood Badge, Powder Horn, Climbing, Leave No Trace, NYLT, etc., go to https://circle10.camp-master.com

For online training such as Hazardous Weather, YPT (we recommend in-person), Safe Swim, Safety Afloat, Chaplain Training, etc., go to my.scouting.org

To use my.scouting.org, be sure to include your BSA ID# to receive credit for your training.  Ensure you have only one BSA ID#.

If you do not know your BSA ID#, you may obtain it by:

  1. Ask your unit leader or unit commissioner.  They can access “my.scouting.org tools” and lookup your member ID in the Member Manager tool.  The member ID is, also, on a roster from Internet Advancement that is accessible under Home/Legacy Web Tools/Internet Advancement.
  2. Call your local council and ask them to look it up – Circle Ten Council:  214-902-6700
  3. Call the Member Care Contact Center at 972-580-2489 or send an email to myscouting@scouting.org .
